Your Privacy.  Your Data.
Our Responsibility.

We protect your privacy and your data with the same clarity and care we bring to training design.  This page explains how your information is collected, stored, and used.

1. Introduction

Bump Bench LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information shared through our website, www.bumpbench.com, and during client engagements.

We collect minimal personal information—only what’s needed to deliver customized consulting and instructional design services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect:

  • Contact details: such as your name, email, phone number, and business information submitted through intake forms or contact requests.

  • Operational context: open-source business data or publicly available information used to prepare deliverables or market analysis.

  • Usage data: non-identifiable analytics such as site visits, time on page, and general browsing patterns.

We do not collect sensitive data (financial, health, or government ID information) unless voluntarily provided for specific administrative reasons.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

  • Prepare and deliver scoped audit findings and instructional materials.

  • Respond to inquiries or service requests.

  • Improve user experience and website performance.

  • Maintain compliance with legal and licensing requirements.

We never sell or rent your information to third parties.

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Tools

We use a small number of trusted third-party service providers to support the delivery of your audit and to prepare your materials. These providers receive only the minimum information necessary to perform their functions.

We may use third-party tools for:

  • Email communication (e.g., sending your appointment invitations).
Only your name and email address are used for this purpose.

  • Secure file storage and communication
(e.g., Google Workspace / Google Drive, which uses encrypted storage).

  • Document preparation and design
(e.g., Canva, used to format written materials and visuals).
No sensitive data, internal documents, or confidential client assets are uploaded.

  • Digital presentation tools
(e.g., online flipbook platforms used to deliver your results).
Your name, company name, and identifying information are not included in these documents.

Each provider is used solely to support the services you request and is contractually or commercially bound to protect your information and use it only for its intended purpose.  We do not allow any third-party provider to use your data for marketing, profiling, or resale.

5. Security of Your Information

We use secure, encrypted communication and commercially reasonable security measures to protect your data. While no system is entirely immune, we actively maintain protection standards that meet or exceed Virginia and U.S. federal data privacy norms.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access or correct your personal data.

  • Request deletion of stored information.

  • Withdraw consent for non-essential data tracking.

  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

Requests may be sent to privacy@bumpbench.com.

7. Cookies and Tracking

Our website platform may use essential cookies and basic analytics tools to keep the site secure and understand general visit patterns. We don’t use this information to build marketing profiles or sell your data.

8. Business Transfers or Legal Requirements

If Bump Bench LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.  We may also disclose data when required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.

9. Business Transfers or Legal Requirements
At intake, clients may choose whether their project data is analyzed using AI-assisted research tools or developed entirely through manual consulting processes.

  • Selecting AI-Assisted Analysis allows faster turnaround times (typically within days) using open-data, non-confidential research methods reviewed by a human consultant before delivery.

  • Selecting Manual Development extends project timelines (typically several weeks) to allow for human-only data review, synthesis, and development.

Regardless of the selection, no private, regulated, or confidential client data is shared with AI systems. All deliverables undergo structured review and approval by Bump Bench before release.

10.  How we use AI Tools

We may use AI-assisted tools to help organize and analyze the written responses you provide in your intake form. These tools are used only to support our internal work process and to prepare your deliverables.

We do not provide AI systems with your name, contact information, private documents, internal system access, or any regulated or sensitive data.

Only the written, non-confidential text you enter into your intake form may be processed through AI tools.

All AI-assisted outputs are reviewed, edited, and finalized by a human consultant before delivery.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent version. Continued use of our site or services after updates indicates acceptance.
